Preferably use the VU-AMS DAMS suite. Only if you have a good reason or if you have been explicitly told to do so; use the software suite below.
Please note Internet Explorer somehow changes the file extension from .msi to .man when downloading the setups below. To solve this choose Save as and change the extension back to .msi to be able to run the setup.
VU-AMS5fs software suite (previous version)
To be able to use the VU-AMS5fs and its datafiles, specialized software is needed which can be downloaded here free of charge after you purchased a VU-AMS5fs device. This software is tested on Windows XP and should be compatible with Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7.

Please note that, if you use the AMSi Infrared serial communication interface cable for USB; you will need to install a driver. We found out you will need to run the third party setup below twice to install the driver.

VU-AMS4.6 software suite (previous version)

To use the previous VU-AMS4.6 or older versions you will need to download the software below. You may also use these programs with data collected with the new VU-AMS5fs version after converting it with AmsRevertFormat.

VU-DAMS version 4.3 and higher is equipped with a highly effective dZ/dt filter (on by default). We discourage switching between having the dZ/dt filter on or off in the middle of a project. Use the same setting for all subjects in a single project. The new ICG filtering can be switched off via Edit>Settings>Expert Mode.
Please restart your computer if you experience (VU-AMS icon) problems.
The VU-DAMS Program is build and tested on Windows 10 (64bit version). This is the recommend and best supported OS to use with VU-DAMS. Please email vu-ams@psy.vu.nl when having problems.
VU-DAMS is a Java application, so Java has to be installed for VU-DAMS to run. To resolve Java version issues on installation or crashes when connecting the device check out this manual.
